September 9, 2008 - Salman Khan is set to perform live to collect money for the Bihar Flood Relief Fund, at the behest of Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam.

According to our source, “Salman is doing a special charity show. It so happened that Nirupam requested Salman to participate in a rally, but since Salman was shooting in Panvel he was unable to make it.”

Adds the source, “But Nirupam had another plan. He called up the actor and requested him to do a live charity show. Salman agreed. The details of the show will be worked out in a meeting at Salman’s farmhouse soon.”

When contacted, Nirupam said, “Yes, I did call Salman. He has a great human side to him and has always been there to help in every possible way. He couldn’t participate for the rally as he is busy with his shoots but he will be doing a live show. He sent his people to chalk out the dates and other prerequisites for the show.”
