ST Jayasuriya was caught by Dhoni b I Sharma, for 43 in 37 balls, with 8 four, KC Sangakkara caught by Dhoni b I Sharma, out at 7, played 10 balls, with one four, DPMD Jayawardene was caught by Gambhir b Ojha for 50 out of 63 balls with 4 four, CK Kapugedera lbw by Kumar at 75, played 78 balls, with 7 four and 1 six.

LPC Silva was run out (Dhoni) at 50, played 56 balls, two four and 1 six, TM Dilshan caught by Singh b Pathan, scored 15 runs, played 19 balls, scored 2 four ; K.Weeraratne caught Gambhir b Singh at 23, played 18 balls, 3 four.

K.Weeraratne caught by Gambhir b Singh, made 23 in 18 balls,  3 four. T.Thushara was run out by Dhoni/Gambhir at 23 in 14 balls, 2 four. KMDN Kulasekara scored 6 in 4 balls, 1 four, not out and M. Muralitharan, not out, scored 1 in 1.
