Jaipur/Ghaziabad, May 15, 2008 -  An email by an outfit called "Indian Mujahideen" has claimed responsibility for Tuesday's devastating blasts in Jaipur and the owner of the cyber cafe in Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh from where it was sent has been detained by police for questioning.

The email, which was sent on Wednesday to various television channels, has given the frame number (129489) of the bicycle which was planted at Choti Chaupad near Kotwali in the Pink City and warned of more such attacks in the country.

The frame number of a bicycle recovered by the Rajasthan Police from the spot is same, the sources in Central security agencies said, noting the email was written from the cyber cafe in Sahibabad in Ghaziabad district in the outskirts of the capital.

Shyam Bir, owner of the cybercafe in Sahibabad town, along with his employee, were taken for questioning Wednesday night by the Special Task Force (STF) of UP police, District Superintendent of Police Deepak Ratan said in Ghaziabad.

UP police also raided a house in Baghpat district in its hunt for Shamim, chief of the western UP unit of Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islami (HUJI) of Bangladesh, who is suspected to be involved in the Jaipur blasts.

The raid yielded no result, UP police sources said, adding that Shamim was also suspected to be involved in the Varanasi serial blasts in 2006.

The email, claiming responsibility for the deadly serial explosion in the Pink City, said India should stop supporting the US in the international arena, "and if you do continue then get ready to face more attacks at other important tourist places...".
