Bollywood actresses are often sought to add glamour to New Year parties at world-class hotels and make the night memorable for the revelers. Katrina Kaif may have missed the chance to dance last year but this time she will perform and that too for an extra crore.
According to reports, Ms Kaif will get about Rs 2 crore, almost the double of what she was offered last year, to perform on New Year’s Eve party at J W Marriott. Last year, Mumbai was not in mood to celebrate after the terrorist attacks of 26/11 and thus most of the events were called off.
This year, Katrina has reportedly been asked again to perform and sources add, “This New Year's Eve, however, plans are on to make Katrina's event a grand affair. The actress has agreed to get jiggy but clearly for a higher price to match her present position in B-Town,” as quoted by a daily.
In previous years Mallika Sherawat and Bipasha Basu were also paid staggering amounts to dance at the bash but Katrina’s demand price has surpassed all. though, according to her, nothing is yet confirmed.
