Mumbai: October 4, 2008 - Priyanka Chopra could be seen sporting a golden bikini in Dostana or super hot dresses in Fashion but the diva was extremely hesitant to wear short pants for the song Oopcha… in her film, Drona.

The reason behind her reluctance was — all the dancers who featured along with her in the song, were  men. They are from the band called Son of A Bitch from New Jersey. The group was flown down to Mumbai especially for this song keeping in mind, their excellent dancing abilities.

Considering that she was the only female with lots of men around her, she showed her apprehension towards wearing the short pants and requested director Goldie Behl to change the costume for the song due to her discomfort.

She was not comfortable wearing short dress with so many men around her. Said director Goldie Behl, “Since the song is very underground and grungy, Priyanka was apprehensive of close proximity with the dancers. When Rajiv Surti (the choreographer) told her about the dancers alternate sexuality, she was okay to shoot the song. She is a thorough professional and has done a fantastic job.”

Where as when Priyanka was asked to share the anxiety, she refused to comment and diplomatically said, “It is a very high energy song. It was created keeping in mind, my character Sonia. I think it looks great and I hope the audience will feel the same.”

Finally she resumed her confidence after knowing the gay status of all the men around her in the song. She felt relaxed and agreed to wear the short dress and continued the shoot for the song. One can see her sizzling on the screen as the song has come out really well.
