
Mumbai: September 12, 2008 - Beginning September 8, Star Gold, the number two Hindi movies channel, has launched a new property called Chandni Chowk to Bollywood, a seven week long festival of blockbuster movies of Akshay Kumar, which will culminate in October.
Sameer Rao, general manager, Star Gold, said, "It gives us immense pleasure to encompass the road to success of Akshay Kumar. Chandni Chowk to Bollywood will take the viewers through finer details of life and times, on screen and off screen of the actor."
Akshay Kumar, on the movie festival, said, "It's an honour for me to be a part of this initiative undertaken by Star Gold. My fans have always wanted to know more about me, how I have grown from my first movie, the ups and downs in my life etc. The festival will not only showcase my journey, but also capture some special moments that my fans will be witness to it."
