
September 3, 2008 - People Groups movie arm People Pictures has made announcement about the launching of its maiden movie venture with an unusual name, 99, on September 1.
Featuring the talented hero Kunal Khemu, hot Soha Ali Khan, superb actor Boman Irani, comedian Cyrus Broacha, cute Simone Singh, ace director Mahesh Manjrekar and veteran actor Vinod Khanna, the flick will be directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, who earlier directed short-titled movies including Shor and Falvors.
The upcoming film 99, which is being made on a budget of Rs 100 million, has been written by Sita Menon, a former rediff.com staff member.
99 is the journey of two different men in two different cities, who want to break away from their boring life, and make it big.
After 99, People Pictures will proceed to other film projects, which include Click, Marry and the Sanju Baba starrer Charles and I.
Lets hope, 99 sets box office afire!
