Left still undecided when to withdraw support?
MIL/TNN, Jul 4, 2008. IR Summary

New Delhi, India: July 4, 2008 - IR Summary/TNN - Keeping in view of the latest development created by Mulayam Singh Yadav and Amar Singh in favor of Nuclear Deal, the Left look to have changed their stand. According to Times Now , the Left is issuing a letter to the PM seeking clarification on the nuclear deal.

Left Sources say the party is seeking a clarification on the government approaching the IAEA Board of Governor, sources believe the Left letter in essence sets one week as the deadline for pullout.

However, Left parties have decided not to jump the gun and wait for the Prime Minister to return from the G8 summit in Japan, before taking the ultimate step.

All this comes a day after the United National Progressive Alliance leaders refrained from throwing their weight behind the controversial deal, saying they needed expert and independent opinion.
